Builders Association of India (BAI) is a prestigious association representing the
construction industry, dedicated to promoting the interests of builders and contractors and
enhancing the standards of the construction industry through various initiatives and
collaborations.
College of Engineering Trivandrum (CET) is entered into a Memorandum of
Understanding at Thiruvananthapuram on 8th of August 2025. The mutual benefits of
collaborating are to enhance the academic and practical knowledge of students, faculty, and
technical staff, and to contribute to the growth and development of the construction industry.
Objectives:

To promote collaboration between CET and BAI in the fields of education, research, and industry practices.

To facilitate knowledge exchange and capacity building among students, faculty and professionals in the construction industry.

To provide opportunities for students to gain practical experience through internships, project work, and industrial training.

To encourage joint research projects and consultancy services that address industry challenges and advance the state of knowledge in Civil Engineering.
