Programme Outcomes (PO)

PO1. An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems

PO2. An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document

PO3. Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area of Environmental Engineering. The mastery should be at a level higher than the requirements in the appropriate bachelor program

PO4. Acquire in-depth knowledge about various environmental processes and to participate in collaborative and interdisciplinary practical/research projects

PO5. Create, select and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering tools including prediction and modelling to arrive at sustainable solutions

PO6. Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess, understand, predict and quantify impacts of new projects and to effectively manage environmental resources, their development and applications to meet the desired needs of society within ethical and sustainability constraints.
