Programme Outcomes (PO)

  • PO 1 : An ability to independently carry out research /investigation and development work to solve practical problems
  • PO 2 : An ability to write and present a substantial technical report/document
  • PO 3: Students should be able to demonstrate a degree of mastery over the area of geoinformatics at a higher level.
  • PO 4 : Ability to select appropriate resources, tools and to apply the right techniques for the prediction and modelling of complex engineering problems with an understanding of its limitations.
  • PO 5 : Acquire in-depth knowledge about emerging areas of geoinformatics and to participate in collaborative and interdisciplinary practical/research projects.
  • PO 6: Become experts in the field of geoinformatics and to develop qualities to fit into a broad range of projects in industry, research, academics.

Programme Educational Objectives (PEO)

  • PEO 1:    To engage in sustainable development and demonstrate data analysis skills for effective interpretation and decision making to solve real life problems using the state of the art technologies in the field of geoinformatics.
  • PEO 2: Advance personally and professionally by accepting professional and societal responsibilities and pursing leadership roles and by adhering to the highest level of professional code of ethics
  • PEO 3: Pursue professional development through exposure to the advanced areas of geoinformatics by engaging in lifelong learning abreast with the latest technologies in geoinformatics field.
